I personally find insecure people very off-putting and wouldn't put up with their silly demands as I do not need them to sign off a permission slip to say what I can or can't do. I think they need to sort themselves out and not expect you to tiptoe around their own insecurities, especially when you haven't given them a reason to be. When I was growing up, I was different from everyone. From the nerds, the goths, the cool kids, the jocks etc. I hung out with all of them. I was the all-rounder.
